Synopsis:

A.P.E.X. - Advanced Prototype Extermination Unit

A time-travel experiment in which a robot probe is sent from the year 2073 to the year 1973 goes terribly wrong thrusting one of the project scientists, a man named Nicholas Sinclair into a plague ravaged alternate time-line whose war weary inhabitants are locked in a constant battle with killer robots which are automatically being sent there from Sinclair's lab. To escape this situation, Sinclair must find a similar time machine in this alternate world and prevent the disaster from ever happening.

A man returns to the past to improve his present time and instead messes it up in this old-fashioned science fiction B movie. The film begins in the year 2073; Nicholas Sinclair, like his other time-travel researchers is dying from a virus. He returns via time warp to 1973 to bring back a defective robot probe. The trouble begins when his colleagues send a probe after him. In the revised present most of the world is being overrun by robots while the human population is being wiped out by a virus. Nicholas is a soldier in the guerrilla army that battles the robots. His wife Natasha is also in the army.

Well its been said that things happen. Thats ever so true in this futuristic time travel thriller. From the moment when it appears that your entire world may have been destroyed by some error in judgement , to the journey into Time to solve the paradox that will fix this situation. Not to forget the Love interest.... How to deal with the Paradox versions of Loved Ones in the other world? I found this to be a somewhat sad and slightly Haunting movie. I enjoyed it and will watch it many times. The Effects are great and the story line is quite good.
